The four basic and most important things one need to do for making the webpage SEO friendly are:

1) Title Tag -This is the most important tag of a web page. Search engines will give it more importance than anything else in a webpage and this tells the search engine what the page is about. This tag should contain the title of the page, which describes what exactly the webpage is about. It should not be more than 60 characters.

The content should be related the title tag, description tag and keywords tag. The more unique the content is, the more chance your page will be at top in the search results. The search engines do not give preference to sites which have duplicate content that is already present in other websites. Try to modify it with your own words and making your own sentences.
